Since the Django Sprint at Europython was great fun, there was some discussion in the django-de.org community about a local Django Sprint in Berlin.
We decided to accompany the Beta2 Sprint in Lawrence on Friday, August 08, 2008 and are happy to be able to continue on Saturday, August 09, 2008.
The location of the sprint is the Hasso Plattner Institute at the University of Potsdam, located in the south west of Berlin (How to find it).
We have a reservation for a room at the main building from Friday afternoon (2 p.m.) to Saturday evening, thanks to the Chair of Internet-Technologies and Systems.

Whenever I try to add my name to the list, it gets rejected and wiki tells me I am spamming.
Yeah, that's a known behaviour for anonymous edits of the Django wiki. Either go to settings (top right next to "Login") and add your name and e-mail. Once you click save, you should be able to edit without a problem. Or go to http://www.djangoproject.com/accounts/register/ to register for an own account and make sure you're logged in before editing the site.
