Django T-Shirts and more

Since many in the Django community have asked (me including) for t-shirts I’ve put together a shop at Spreadshirt. The printed logo is crisp and the quality of the shirts is quite ok. No, I don’t make any money with that :)

Feel free to visit the shop at django.spreadshirt.net!

UPDATE: I’ve added some girlie clothes to the shop though the product portfolio of Spreadshirt is biased towards boys. Hm.

UPDATE 2: Due to some strange reasons Spreadshirt runs its US business separately and offers a smaller set of customizable products. The American shop with fewer Django-affine products can be found at django.spreadshirt.com.

Thats nice! Good job!

That's a very good idea, indeed, but I was just wondering if you have the permission to use the brand "Django" and its logo. As far as I can tell, they are registered trademark of Lawrence Journal-World.

You are right No', they are registered trademarks. Fortunately I got permission to use the Django logo and the teaser on T-Shirts before going to public with the shop.

These are sweet. Green is the new black!

Thanks Christoph, and they go like hot cakes :)

Hmm, that would be much much better if the logo wouldnt be inverted, because the real django logo isn't also..

The logo you use is because of that NOT THE DJANGO LOGO.

But I do my django textiles at work, because I work for a textile printing company.. They look as they should, I make you a photo soon.. :)

I would also only put only real "dark green" textiles in the shop because any other shirt color are also NOT IN DJANGO COLOR.

Hi Markus, thanks for your comment.

This is one of the "official" logos, have a look at the second file in eps format (django-logo-negative.eps) at http://www.djangoproject.com/community/logos/

I would totally love to see a photo of your shirt because Spreadshirt is definitely not my favorite company. Though they do worldwide shipping.

Concerning the color of the shirts: I think it's just my personal taste, so let's not discuss what you would do. I asked for permission from Jacob (Lawrence Journal-World) before putting these shirts online and some diversity isn't bad, right?
